People - not just policies - determine the success of sustainability transitions. This is where HumanFactor comes in. This projects aims at empowering Alpine communities to actively shape transformation and put a spotlight on the ‘human factor’ in decision-making and implementation activities.

HumanFactor is about bridging the implementation gaps, through knowledge building, networking, and hands-on support. Our cross-border approach harnesses the collective intelligence of the Alpine region and enables mutual learning across boundaries to turn local actors into sustainability pioneers.
