The ministers and high-level representatives of the Alpine countries as well as the representatives of observer organizations met today in Grassau, Germany to discuss important issues on the future development and protection of the Alps. Some of the topics discussed were the topic of green economy in the Alps, the developments in the scope of the EUSALP and Alpine protected areas. At the Alpine Conference the Presidency of the Alpine Convention was handed from Germany to Austria. Read the statements of both ministers on this occasion in the press release.
