Photo Contest 2022

The countless ways in which light flows over the Alps were seen in the many submissions for the 2022 Photo Contest under the motto “Alpine plays of light”! The thirteen best photos capturing this theme were included in the 2023 edition of the Alpine Convention’s calendar. Congratulations to the winners and thank you to everyone who submitted a photo!

“Light affects our surroundings, our perceptions, and our emotions, constantly changing and shaping the Alpine landscapes,” said Alenka Smerkolj, Secretary General of the Alpine Convention. “As always the quality of submissions was extremely high, and it was wonderful to see so many beautiful photos capturing the diverse plays of light from all over the Alps!”
