Youth Parliament to the Alpine Convention (YPAC) 2023

The Youth Parliament to the Alpine Convention (YPAC) brings together young people from different Alpine countries and areas to discuss current topics affecting the Alpine region in a parliamentary simulation. It aims to give pupils insights into parliamentary structures as well as current topics of concern to the Alpine region. Moreover, it is a platform for cultural exchange and networking among young people.

YPAC sessions take place once a year and the participating schools take turns in hosting them. The topics closely follow the protocols of the Alpine Convention. The 2023 YPAC session took place in Sonthofen (Bavarian Swabia) with the general topic “Quality of Live in the Alps”. The 2024 session will take place in Kamnik (Slovenia) in March 2024.
