speciAlps Podcast

From artificial intelligence to the last kilometre. to carrying capacity limits and "nudging": the speciAlps podcast series and a webinar delve into the topic of visitor guidance for a broad audience. The podcast builds on the speciAlps 1 and speciAlps 2 projects of CIPRA International and the Community Network “Alliance in the Alps”.

The project has two priorities: firstly, it focuses on providing information on various topics related to visitor management for decision-makers and interested individuals in the Alpine region. Secondly, the project aims to strengthen networking and knowledge-sharing across regional, national, cultural, and language boundaries. It is underpinned by a webinar on “nudging visitor management” on 21 September 2023 and communication measures. The four podcast episodes are being released in the spring, summer, autumn, and winter of 2023/24 in English and one of the main Alpine languages.

The project is funded by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV).
