We are now accepting submissions for this year’s Alpine Convention Photo Contest! “From pasture to plate” is the motto of this year’s contest, and we are looking for photos that capture the diversity of food and culinary traditions from across the Alps.
The Slovenian Presidency of the Alpine Convention and the Permanent Secretariat have chosen this theme to showcase the integral role of food in the Alps. We also want to pay tribute to the hard work of farmers and shepherds across the Alps and use this contest to recognise and appreciate the agricultural heritage and traditions of the Alpine region.
As always, the thirteen best photos will be included in the Alpine Convention’s calendar and the photographers of the winning photos will receive Alpine Convention gifts. Of the thirteen selected photos, the Permanent Secretariat of the Alpine Convention will choose the three best unique photographs and award them the three following prizes:
- 1st prize: € 500
- 2nd prize: € 350
- 3rd prize: € 200
