GOVQoL

GOVQoL tackles challenges in Alpine communities – depopulation, fewer services, climate impacts, and mistrust in governance – that affect quality of life. It equips local governments with tools and knowledge to integrate quality of life into policymaking. The project strengthens administrations, engages stakeholders, and creates place-based solutions aligned with Alpine policies. By sharing best practices and supporting local roadmaps, GOVQoL promotes inclusive, sustainable, and resilient communities focused on local needs.

The project will deliver tailored roadmaps and practical tools to help Alpine communities embed quality of life in long-term policies. Through workshops, seminars, and an Alpine-wide handbook, GOVQoL enhances local skills and supports community-led governance.
