BrokeringSpaces

The lack of space in the Alps is creating local challenges with major socioeconomic impacts, especially in tourism, construction, and the environment. Since current approaches are fragmented, BrokeringSpaces aims to integrate traditional local knowledge with regional spatial planning laws to create more specific and inclusive settlement areas. The project will develop comprehensive transformation scenarios by combining legal and informal tools.

It will provide practical tools and pilot cases to support sustainable soil management, improving soil quality in Alpine regions. Through training 'multipliers' and organising cultural and artistic events, the project will raise awareness and spread soil knowledge among diverse stakeholders.
