RRA Koroška Infopoint
About
The Regional Development Agency (RRA) for Koroška aims to promote regional and local development and to encourage spatial and regional planning, sustainable tourism, sustainable mobility, and nature protection. It is located in Dravograd, a town in northern Slovenia close to the Austrian border.
The Agency is authorised to prepare and implement regional development programmes and regional spatial plans and acts as a tourism destination management organisation and regional mobility centre. The RRA Koroška cooperates in managing the Regional park Pohorje Hills and it cooperates with the ETZS Geopark Karawanken/Karavanke. The Agency employs an interdisciplinary team of 20 experts.
The RRA Koroška is the third Alpine Convention Infopoint in Slovenia, and the second regional development agency with this role. It is also the first Infopoint in the eastern part of the Slovenian Alps. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on 28 March 2024.

Alpine Convention activities
Some highlights of the RRA Koroška's Infopoint activities include:
- Informing visitors about the Alpine Convention
- Distributing publications and promotional materials of the Alpine Convention
- Organising a festive event for the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding including a side event focused on Remote/hybrid work in Alpine regions such as Koroška region
- Preparing events for the Alpine Convention’s annual Reading Mountains Festival
