The 2025 edition of the Alpine Convention’s Photo Contest is now accepting submissions! The theme of this year’s contest is ‘Moods of the sky’, a chance to show the Alps from their many different sides.
The Alps are the perfect theatre for the incredible display of nature’s power in the sky. The weather, light, and atmosphere can change very quickly and dramatically, offering us spectacular shows of colours, shapes, and light. We are looking for photos capturing the most unique of these moments in the Alps: night and day, throughout the seasons, and in all kinds of weather conditions.

You are warmly invited to share the moods of the sky in the Alps by sending us your contributions by 1 September 2025. A jury will select the thirteen best photos to be included in the 2026 edition of the Alpine Convention calendar. Their authors will receive Alpine Convention gifts as well as, for the three best unique photographs, the following prizes:
- 1st prize: €500
- 2nd prize: €350
- 3rd prize: €200
