The ARS.UNI.VCO – E.T.S. Association (Association for the Development of Culture of University Studies and Research in Verbano Cusio Ossola – E.T.S.) was established on 14 July 2000. 

ARS.UNI.VCO – E.T.S. is a non-profit Association whose main activities consist of organising and managing cultural, artistic or recreational activities of social interest, including editorial activities. These activities serve to promote and disseminate cultural and artistic projects and structures for the development and economic, social, and cultural enhancement of the Verbano-Cusio-Ossola area and of the Alps and rural areas in general. It has been a European Documentation Centre (EDC) for the European Commission since 2018.

Set up in 2013, Domodossola was the first Alpine Convention Infopoint. Its main focus is the involvement of young people, pupils, and teachers in the Alpine Convention’s activities. The Infopoint also regularly contributes a dedicated Infopoint prize to the Young Academics Award.
