Alongside the legal framework of the Alpine Convention, a number of important ongoing activities seek to put into practice at European, national, regional and local level the commitments contained in the Convention and its Protocols.

Several projects have been initiated which, to varying extents, are addressed and involve  eight countries, 27 regions and 5800 communities. The initiatives and support of networks specific to the Alpine area is crucial for the success of the Convention practical implementation. These networks are:

THE ALPINE CONVENTION FOR YOUNG PEOPLE!

Have fun and discover the Convention by playing the two games we developped for you!

  • "The World of the Alps": a card game conceived for kids, but adult will very likely have fun too playing with it.
  • TRANSALPIN: it is an interactive simulation game for the high schools.

YOUTH PARLIAMENT OF THE ALPINE CONVENTION

Since 2006 a students' Parliament for representatives of schools from all Contracting parties meets once a year and adopts resolutions on questions of special interest for the inhabitants of the Alpine region.
