Indicators are linked to the objectives of the Convention and it´s protocols.
The Working Group “Environmental objectives and indicators” of the Alpine Convention set up a common Alpine-wide set of indicators as a base for long-term monitoring and sustainable development in the Alps, identification and assessment of success of implementation and gaps, as well as of alpine risks and trends.
