YOUNG GENERATION
The Alpine Convention pays special attention to the involvement of youth by organizing activities
to raise awareness of specific alpine issues:
- the award for Young Scientists (diploma, master’s thesis and doctor dissertation) on issues
of particular interest to the Alpine Convention;
- the card game "The World of the Alps": in original and amusing way the important themes of the
Alpine Convention are presented;
- the strategy game "Transalpin" a teaching tool and strategy game whose goal is to raise the
awareness of the connection between transport development, economy, tourism and what are
the consequences of these three factors on the Alpine environment.
