Cape Farewell initiatives on climate change
The Cape Farewell Foundation believes in combining science, art and other subject areas to educate young people on climate change and inspire them to engage creatively on the issue through cross-curricular activities. Initiative Schools at university (SAUCE)
The project SAUCE contributes to generate climate change awareness and conscious behaviours by developing energy education in primary and secondary schools. Seven European universities have joined forces to develop and promote university programs for schools as an innovative educational tool
aiming to make younger generations adopt intelligent energy behaviour. Once or twice a year, those universities will invite thousands of children
to attend a five-day on-campus program, including an introductory event for teachers.

Klimabündins: The Klimabündnis is a network of a variety of municipalities and companies that are trying to work and act “climate friendly”. Schools and kindergartens can join the Klimabündnis and support it to reach their climate targets. The Klimabündnis provides workshops and information services on climate change to use them.
