    From this site one can find all the Energy agencies in Europe, including the Alpine ones.
  • Housing & Buildings : Build Up
    The BUILD UP website intends to be a pool of good  and concrete practices on how to cut energy consumption in buildings. It addresses issues interesting different sectors of society: building professionals, local authorities and building occupants.
  • ManagEnergy
    ManagEnergy is an initiative of the European Commission, supporting the work of local & regional actors working on energy efficiency and renewable energies.Training, workshops and online events. The website includes a partner search system with some 4000 organisations, including 380 energy agencies, which can provide valuable expertise and partnerships.  
  • The “EuroAlliance of companies for efficient energy in buildings” pursues the objective to work together with the EU institutions to help Europe move towards a more sustainable pattern of energy use in building, contributing to the EU’s commitments on carbon emission reduction, job creation and energy security.
  • The Covenant of Mayors is a commitment by signatory towns and cities to go beyond the objectives of EU energy policy in terms of reduction in CO2 emissions through enhanced energy efficiency and cleaner energy production and use.
  • The European Green Capital was conceived as an initiative to promote and reward these efforts, to spur cities to commit to further action, and to showcase and encourage exchange of best practice among European cities.
  • Concerto initiative, launched by the European Commission, is a Europe-wide initiative proactively addressing the challenges of creating a more sustainable future for Europe’s energy needs. Today, there are a total of 58 communities in 22 projects, each working to deliver the highest possible level of self-supply of energy. CONCERTO is part of the framework research programme supervised by the DG Energy and Transport of the European Commission.
  • The European Mobility Week is an awareness raising campaign aimed at increasing the awareness of citizens to the use of public transport, cycling, walking and at encouraging European cities to promote these modes of transport and to invest in the new necessary infrastructures.
