ALPEN-FORUM-INNSBRUCK   
 
The Alpen-Forum-Innsbruck started in 2015 in the frame of the preparations for the COP21 in Paris as  a joint initiative of the: 
The aim is to provide a forum for public information and discussion to address the issue of climate change in the Alpine region, with inputs from the academic and practical fields. Three discussion evenings were held with different focuses:
  • 23 June 2015 - Climate Change and Natural Risks (see flyer)
  • 20 October 2015 - Climate Change and Energy (see flyer and report)
  • 9 December 2015 - Climate Change and Tourism (see flyer)  
In 2016-2017, alpS and the Permanent Secretariat continued the series with ad-hoc partners depending on the topics dealt with:
  • 18 May 2016 – Climate Change and Health, co-organised with the Research Focus “Alpine Space – Man and Environment” of the University of Innsbruck, Tirol Kliniken and the Medical Chamber of Tyrol (see flyer and report)
  • 16 November 2016 – Climate Change and Agriculture, co-organised with the Research Focus “Alpine Space – Man and Environment” of the University of Innsbruck, the Tyrolean Chamber of Agriculture and the Rural Advanced Training Institute (see flyer and report)  
  • 13 June 2017 – Climate Change and Water, co-organised with the Tyrolean Insurance (Tiroler Versicherung) (see flyer and report).
