Cape Farewell initiatives on climate change

subject areas to educate young people on climate change and inspire them to
engage creatively on the issue through cross-curricular activities. The
foundation website provides free downloadable resources for teachers (lessons
plans, DVDS...).

Initiative Schools at university (SAUCE)
The project SAUCE contributes to generate climate change awareness and
conscious behaviours by developing energy education in primary and
secondary schools. Seven European universities have joined forces to develop
and promote university programs for schools as an innovative educational tool
aiming to make younger generations adopt intelligent energy behaviour. Once
or twice a year, those universities will invite thousands of children
to attend a five-day on-campus program, including an introductory event for
teachers.
